Steve Hortegas, licensed Funeral Director
Steve graduated from Wheaton College. His prior work experience includes over 20 years of service as Ministry Executive for the Bible Study Hour with Dr. James M. Boice in Philadelphia.
Steve and Lori were married in 1989 and have four children. They moved from Seattle to Whatcom County in 1991, and to Lynden in 2001. Steve joined our company in 2004.
He is a board member of the Lynden School District and a member of the Noon Kiwanis. Steve also facilitates a class at First Reformed Church in Lynden, and he enjoys organizing educational community events.

Cindy Alsum, Administrative Assistant
Cindy joined Moles - Lynden in January of 2008. She was born and raised in the Lynden-Everson area, and she graduated from Nooksack Valley High School. She and her husband, John, married in 1984 and have four children. Cindy and John co-owned Alsum & Bode Furniture for 11 years, then owned Furniture Medic for six years.
In her free time, Cindy is an active member at Grace Baptist Fellowship, an Awana Leader and Coach, teaches Klompen Dance, gardens has fun geocaching with her family. She enjoys being with her family and friends.
