| | John W. Moles, Owner & President
John is the fourth generation of the Moles Family in Whatcom County funeral service. John graduated from Seattle Pacific University and attended the MBA program at Western Washington University. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Bellingham, Board member of Whatcom Community Foundation and of the Mt. Baker Chapter of the Red Cross, Treasurer for Bellingham Dollars for Scholars, a Trustee of the Whatcom County Old Settlers Association, and he attends church locally.
Married since 1995, John and Anathea have four children.

| | | |  | | Steve Aafedt, licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer Steve was born in North Dakota and was a classroom teacher in Bismarck for 32 years. He retired from teaching, earned a degree in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, and was a Funeral Directer/Embalmer in Bismarck until moving here in January of 2005 to work at Moles - Greenacres. He has been the Funeral Director at Moles - Ferndale since December of 2006.
Steve and his wife, Linda - also a retired teacher - have two daughters, two sons-in-law, a grandson, and a granddaughter who live in North Dakota and Nebraska. Steve and Linda enjoy living and working in northwest Washington and are blessed to call this home. They are active in their church, and they enjoy exploring Whatcom County and the surrounding area when time allows. | | | | | | | 
| | Jody Johnson, Secretary & Funeral Director Intern Jody began working for Moles Family Services in 2000, bringing her management skills from previous positions. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jody moved to Whatcom County when she was six. She and her husband have been married for 30 years and have two children, one at home and the other living and working locally. Jody is a Ferndale FFA Boosters Board Member. She enjoys spending time with her family, raising animals, and crocheting.
