George L. Steer went peacefully to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. He was born September 16, 1925 in Pittsburg, IN. George was a retired Lt. Commander with the U.S. Navy. His greatest joy in life was his family; his loving wife Nancy, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
 
Private family services will be held.
